I will dominate 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
